E-mail notifications for Baka-Updates' manga and anime listings
Hi there! This is a small tool with the purpose of sending out e-mail notifications whenever new entries are added to the anime list over at
Baka-Updates and to the manga list on MangaUpdates.com.
They don't have this service themselves but I wanted something like this so I decided to create it myself. You can easily sign up or log in
using the form below.
Sorry about the messy layout, this might change later on. :)
Update April 5th 2010: I've added NyaaTorrents as a third source of information because some groups out
there are not tracked by Baka-Updates. For the moment only HorribleSubs releases are tracked using NyaaTorrents but I might add other groups in the
future. (Due to the lack of standardized release titles I need to create regexes to match each group's respective patterns, hence this has to be done
manually).
Update April 30th 2010: I've added TokyoTosho as a fourth source of information to get some of the updates
out there sooner. As with NyaaTorrents, these releases have to be filtered by regex. Currently the following groups are filtered from TokyoTosho: Doki,
Eclipse, HorribleSubs, Mazui and yibis. More will follow. (Chances are I'll remove NyaaTorrents entirely later because TokyoTosho covers almost every
significant NyaaTorrents release and more.)
Update May 6th 2010: The latest addition is AniTV support. This is currently in testing stages and you can't yet enable
it, but I will soon make that possible in the interface. You can get notifications the moment the newest episode airs in Japan so you'll know when you can
start getting excited for the next fansub release. It will also include information about the next airing date, if available. Of course it will also become possible
to disable the fansub release notifications, if people wish to only get AniTV e-mails.
Update May 17th 2010: I've updated the list of tracked groups via TokyoTosho. Releases currently tracked are: Chihiro, CrunchySubs, Darksoul Subs, Doki, Eclipse, FFFpeeps, Formula, HorribleSubs, Mazui, Minor Ja Nai (& Gekkostate), Mokona, Shinsen Subs, Tomodachi & Raze and yibis.
